These terms govern your use of wordsearchmakergenerator.com (wordsearchmakergenerator.com), operated by wordsearchmakergenerator.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What we provide

wordsearchmakergenerator.com provides free online tools for generating printable and interactive learning activities. Most features work without an account. An account adds the ability to save work, reopen it later, and manage share links.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of what you type in. The word lists, clues, definitions, sentences and titles you enter remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.

By saving or sharing content on this site, you give us the limited permission needed to store it, display it back to you, and – if you create a share link – display it to anyone who has that link. That permission ends when you delete the content.

You are responsible for what you enter. You agree not to submit content that:

• infringes anyone’s copyright, trade mark or other rights;
• is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit;
• is intended to deceive, or impersonates another person or organisation;
• contains personal information about someone who has not agreed to it being used;
• contains malicious code.

Because shared activities are commonly played by children, we take content aimed at or harmful to children particularly seriously.

3. What you may do with what you make

The worksheets, puzzles and files you generate are yours to use. Specifically, you may:

• print them and distribute copies to your class, group, family or organisation;
• include them in lesson materials, packs and handouts;
• use them in a paid teaching context, such as a tutoring business or a private school.

You may not resell the generated files themselves as a stock product – for example, compiling large numbers of automatically generated puzzles into a product sold as your own puzzle collection – without our written permission. If you want to produce puzzle books or commercial collections, get in touch; we are not against it, we just want to talk about it first.

4. Accounts

• You must give a genuine email address, and you must confirm it before the account is created.
• Accounts are for adults. If you are under the age at which you can agree to these terms where you live, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
• One person, one account. Do not share credentials.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use automated means to create accounts, generate content or scrape the site at a scale that burdens it;
• attempt to gain access to another user’s account, saved work or private share links;
• probe, scan or test the security of the site except as invited under our security contact;
• reproduce, resell or white-label the service itself;
• remove, obscure or interfere with any advertising or attribution on the site;
• use the site to distribute spam, malware or unlawful material.

6. Share links

A share link makes an activity available to anyone who has the address. It is unlisted rather than secret: we do not publish it, and by default we ask search engines not to index it, but anyone you send it to can pass it on. Do not put anything confidential into a shared activity. You can turn sharing off at any time, which stops the link working immediately.

7. Availability

The service is provided free and “as is”. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that any particular feature will continue to exist. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it. Where we can reasonably do so, we will give notice of significant changes.

We strongly recommend downloading or printing anything you rely on rather than treating this site as your only copy.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that is used to abuse the service, or where we are legally required to do so. Suspension prevents access but does not delete saved work. Where it is appropriate and lawful, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond.

You may delete your account at any time.

9. Advertising

This site is supported by advertising. Advertisements are supplied by third parties and their presence is not an endorsement. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and them.

10. Third-party links

Where we link to other sites, we do so for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or their practices.

11. Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded – including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us (which for a free service is nothing) or the minimum permitted by applicable law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you submit or share, or from your breach of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where wordsearchmakergenerator.com is established, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.
